At lifechurch, our mission is to help people find life in Christ and to become fully devoted followers of him.  Since our founding in summer of 2002, we witnessed over 200 people make commitments or re-commitments to Jesus as their Savior.  It has been an awesome experience to see God work in and through us.

The growth of our church family over the years has led us from the Rahill's backyard, to renting worship space at Field Elementary.  Then having outgrown that, we found it necessary to move to East Middle School.  Now, faced with continued growth and expanding ministries, we again find ourselves needing to find new space – not only for Sunday worship and children’s church, but for mid-week ministry and administration space as well.

After much of prayer and an extensive search for space we could rent, it became clear that we would be unable to find adequate space to meet our needs.  Just when it seemed hopeless, God answered our prayers.  We learned of a building on the northwest corner of Warren and Haggerty roads in Canton that was ideal for our needs.

With God’s help, we will be able to purchase and renovate this building and make it the permanent home of lifechurch.  We will have excellent multi-purpose space for worship, large group meetings, and concerts.  Additionally, we will have permanent space for our children’s ministries, staff offices, and mid-week ministries.

We believe that God has led us to a time and place such as this – where we will be able to establish a firm foundation for lifechurch ministries; a foundation that will allow us to realize the dream of planting churches throughout southeast Michigan and beyond.  We believe that this is God’s mission for us and with His help, our new church home will be a place where people will believe, belong, and become fully devoted followers of Jesus.
